Welcome to Rosland Campground in La Pine, Oregon. We invite you to enjoy our scenic outdoor setting, designed for both day camping and day use. Whether you’re visiting with family or simply looking to spend time in nature, we aim to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Please take a few minutes to review the campground rules so everyone can have a safe and pleasant visit. Your cooperation helps us preserve the natural beauty of this area and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
At Rosland Campground, the safety and comfort of our visitors are a top priority. All guests are expected to follow campground guidelines, including observing quiet hours, keeping the grounds clean, and using designated fire pits for all fires. Pets must remain on a leash at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. We also encourage all visitors to follow Leave No Trace practices to help protect the environment for future use.
We ask everyone to be considerate of others and respectful of the shared space. Please avoid loud or disruptive behavior that could interfere with another guest’s experience. If you need assistance or have any questions during your visit, our camp hosts are available to help. We hope you enjoy your time here and take advantage of the many outdoor activities in the La Pine area, such as hiking, fishing, and exploring the surrounding natural landscape. Oregon State Park Rules
Parking
- Park in designated areas only
- No Day Use Parking Permit Required
- Two vehicles per campsite (Additional parking $10.00 per vehicle)
Hours & Quiet Time
- Park hours: Open daily (dawn to dusk)
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Please be respectful of other visitors at all times
Noise
- Excessive noise is not allowed at any time
- Includes loud music, machines, or behavior that may disturb others
- Keep volume at a reasonable level—especially during quiet hours
Overnight Use
- Camp only in designated camping areas
- Sleeping in vehicles is not permitted

General Use
- Day use and day camping are welcome throughout designated areas
- Day use times from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- No Day Use Parking Permit Required
- Please follow Leave No Trace principles
- Pack out trash and leave your space better than you found it
Fires & Safety
- Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits when permitted by law
- Never leave fires unattended
Pets
- Pets must be leashed at all times (except in the designated dog park)
- Owners must clean up after their pets
- A dog park is available for off-leash play
Trails & River Access
- Trails connect the campground to river access points of the Little Deschutes River
- No motorized vehicles on walking paths or near the river
- Help protect natural areas by staying on designated routes
Facilities
- Restrooms are available at the north and south ends of the campground loop.
- Picnic and event areas are available for day use and reservations
